Chris Pellow, Pellow Ceramics

I’m Chris, and alongside my husband, Ian, we’re the husband-and-wife duo behind Pellow Ceramics. We live in Kinlocheil in the Western Highlands of Scotland and our little pottery studio is where we transform clay into elegant, functional and whimsical works of art.

With clay as our canvas and the rugged beauty of the Highlands as our muse, our creations are a fusion of our cultural heritage and the natural world around us, where each piece tells a story, from a mug that warms your hands on a chilly Highland morning to a playful, quirky vase that brightens your space. Each of them is a little piece of our passion, and waiting to find its new home.

Why not bring some joy to your workspace — be it a corner of a desk, a small window sill or even a bedside table?  We have cute hand-painted bud vases for those lonely small flowers which will do just that: bring a smile to your face when you look up. It makes you pause and reconnect. We even sell small ceramic flowers for the days in between fresh blooms.

Prices: range between £15 for our smallest bud vases and £25 for the larger hand sized ones.

Calene Scott-White, HooperHart

I'm an artist working primarily with lasercut wood. I specialise in miniature framed scenes inspired by wildlife, storytelling, and the Scottish coast and countryside.

The 2024 HooperHart calendar features 12 photographs of my original artwork and has been printed by a Perth-based company using recyclable materials. I am donating £1 from the sale of each calendar to Hogscroft Hedgehog Rescue, Perthshire, who are desperately in need of funds after being flooded during Storm Babet.

Each page of the calendar is illustrated by a miniature scene reflecting the time of year, inspired by the wonderful wildlife, countryside and coastlines of the British Isles.

The calendar has a spiral-bound, slim format - perfect if, like me, you don't have much in the way of wall space! Each month has writing space for every day, with room for notes at the bottom and a page for additional notes at the back.

The calendar measures approximately 11cm x 35cm and makes a great letterbox gift.

Cornelia Weinmann Design

I am a textile designer and fabric upcycler. Repurposed textiles are the materials I use to create new eco-friendly items like colourful clothing, collages, bags, decorative cards and ornaments. Fabric upcycling is my contribution to a more sustainable lifestyle.

I create one-of-a-kind reversible fabric knot bags using repurposed textiles. Inspired by a Japanese design, these small washable carry bags can be slung around your wrist. Not only do they serve as a stylish accessory, they also offer a sustainable alternative to disposable gift wrapping paper.

By repurposing pre-loved textiles, I contribute to a circular economy, taking a small but meaningful step towards reducing waste in landfills and incinerators. Fabric upcycling is a tangible way to express environmental care and join the growing movement of reusing and recycling materials.

Daniele McKinnon, Eat Sleep Ride CIC

Looking for an unusual group activity or staff break? We are an accessible, community-led social enterprise operating from a 24-acre off-grid farm. ESR’s certified staff will guide your group on a journey that will challenge the individual member’s preconceptions about traditional working environments through a series of discussions and activities.

The goal of these activities & discussions is to break down archaic traditions and mindsets that were once believed to increase productivity in the workplace that are now known to be detrimental to both employees and to the businesses themselves. Once the group has come to understand why there must be a change, our staff will help the group unite behind a set of common virtues, thus creating a cohesive, productive, and healthy team.

Sessions are one 1-hour minimum and can also be run as half or full-day events and can tie in other activities including yoga, crafts, bushcraft skills and more. No prior horse experience required!

We can also provide training, separately or as part of a full day, weekend, or block session, which covers a range of topics such as:

  • Growth mindset and emotional intelligence.

  • Coaching and self-reflective practice

  • Boundaries and trust

  • Coping strategies

  • Leadership & communication

Alexandra Sinclair, Eat Sleep Ride CIC (Merchandise)

Each element of this wrapping paper pattern is a digital representation of one of our 19 beloved horses, each with its own distinct character and charm. These horses are so vital as part of our mission to empower.

The individual artworks that make up this pattern were lovingly crafted by one of our young volunteers and loaners. In her free time, she channelled her passion for digital art into each detailed drawing. We were inspired by her dedication and creativity, and we wanted to honour her talent while also fostering creative outlets for others.

So, we collaborated with her to transform her beautiful drawings into this stunning merchandise pattern. By purchasing this design printed on 70x50cm 115gsm silk paper, you're not only getting the most fun all-year-round wrapping paper but also supporting the creative aspirations of young individuals like our talented volunteer.

Shop with heart and make a difference! Every purchase supports education, growth, and well-being for our young people, enriches our off-grid haven, and cares for our rescue horses.

Jeannie Nairn, Woodlands Breathing

I am a Forest Therapy Guide offering forest bathing experiences across Scotland, in person and online (so participants can join from home or across the different time zones of the world and we all connect through nature in a remotely guided experience) either as public events or tailored to a bespoke group such as staff and volunteer wellbeing.

An online remotely guided forest bathing experience is an opportunity to connect with people across the world along with their land. We all walk at the same time in our local woodland or park and connect online so we need to use some technology. If you are unable to get out and about, you can connect from your home.

You are invited to slow down and have space to connect and thrive through a gentle walk in nature to awaken your senses. While minimising our use of technology, let's be curious and play with technology and nature in new ways.

For bespoke groups in the UK, we can offer a wellness pack as another way to connect — this can be tailored to requirements. Gift vouchers are available.

Prices: Variable
